Almost Real Things Magazine
Almost Real Things Magazine is a free, non-profit magazine showcasing up and coming Austin artists, musicians, and businesses. Due to its physical size, I wanted to brand the magazine as "Austin's Smallest Art Magazine"
To show people that they didn't need to go to a museum to see art, I had the idea to create "Austin's Smallest Art Gallery." This public installation had everything a full art museum would: art from artists in the magazine on one side, and a gift shop on the other. The gallery was then placed on South Congress, one of Austin's most popular streets. Keeping in line with the magazines tight budget, the gallery was produced for only around $130.
To further brand the magazine as "Austin's Smallest Art Magazine", I created imagery for social media where everything the magazine owned was small.
